Pretty crochet dress...post 5

Ok so for my official post for today, I decided to take a few vintagy sort of pictures with chairs. I don't remember who gave her this dress but it's so adorable and won't fit her for long. I would have taken more pictures but Anya just wasn't having it today. On the third chair she just lost it! I guess thats what mommy gets for cutting into her nap time!

so here are the pics from yesterday, and no the hat isn't there...I messed it up AND it's too small for her head.

PS> that is NOT the hat I am working on, that one I made before she was born and it still doesn't quite fit her.

Day 4...sorry

I know i'm totally late on today's post, but...I am making a hat and mittens for anya and I figured I would be done by the end of today and I would post that...but I'm not finished and probably won't be before midnight. I'll post today's pictures tomorrow since I did take some (they are dated)...

Making an angel...part 1

So today I started working on anya's halloween costume. she slept through all the measuring, but suprisingly stayed awake to watch me put her dress/shirt together. This isn't anywhere near finished, but I think it looks cute anyways!

So today Anya, Mike and I went to Johann's to get material for Anastasia's Halloween costume. I figured that since we knew what we were getting we would be in and out...No such luck, Johann's didn't have the materials I needed for her candy corn, peacock OR tinkerbell costume...so an angel she shall be!

day 1 - New blog...new prject

So I have decided to start a blog about my daughter Anya and I. I want to create a sort of picture diary about our lives together every day for 100 days. I want to make a post and include at least 1 daily picture of her. I think this will get my creative engine started, because truthfully I miss having a creative outlet like I used too. I hope someday Anya and I will revisit this or make it an ongoing thing:)
